Each record states the nature of the connection rather than implying that every artist lived in Vancouver at the same time. Historical anchors, contemporary practices and broader British Columbia influences are labelled separately.
What belongs here
The atlas prioritizes artists whose work contributes to understanding the city, coast, mountains, wildlife, architecture or cultural life of the region. Inclusion is editorial context, not an award or commercial endorsement.

Start with subject pages if you are looking for a particular kind of work. Cityscape, landscape, mountain and wildlife pathways reveal relationships that an alphabetical list cannot.
