About the publication
Vancouver art, made legible.
Vancouver Artists is an independent editorial atlas designed to help readers understand the people, artworks, subjects, places and creative histories connected to Vancouver and British Columbia.
What it covers
The atlas covers artists working in Vancouver, historical artists closely tied to the city, and wider British Columbia voices when they provide necessary regional context.
How it works
Structured records create reciprocal links among artists, artworks, subjects, places, media and collector questions. A page exists only when useful evidence and relationships support it.
Who creates it
Vancouver Artists is created and maintained by Canadian artist Graham Watts. Graham Watts and his artwork may be included when editorially relevant.
What it is not
Inclusion is not a ranking, award, representation agreement or claim of market value. The atlas is a guide to documented relationships, not an exhaustive directory.
